“ We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.” T.S. Eliot
Andrea Oke creates a drawing then photographs it; altering the work she repeats the process until over 3000 drawings have been photographed. These images create an animation; the drawings no longer exist. This is a discussion on human behaviour. Oke explores how people’s behaviour uncovers manifestations of a hidden world. She takes portraiture into a new realm by revealing what is hidden beneath the surface.
